Emily Devereux is the associate vice president for research development in the Office of the Vice President for Research. In this role, she oversees research development initiatives for USC, including the Carolina Grants and Innovation Hub.

In her role as Administrative Coordinator, Tyshawna Cleveland’s duties include providing administrative support for the Carolina Grants and Innovation Hub and Research Facilities & Infrastructure within the Office of the Vice President for Research.

In his role as grant writer for STEM research, Dr. Harrison works with USC faculty and collaborators to prepare quality research grant applications for submission and ensure compliance with major STEM sponsors' policies and procedures.

Vanessa Nelson-Reed, Ph.D., Director for Proposal Development

As Director for Proposal Development, Vanessa Nelson-Reed supports university faculty through concierge research development services as they prepare for proposal submission.  She and her staff of grant writers assist with the comprehensive and enhanced research development services for the Carolina Grants and Innovation Hub.

 

 

Affiliates

University Libraries affiliates will serve in an advisory capacity for the Carolina Grants and Innovation Hub. In this role, they will provide research intelligence consultations for faculty to locate potential funding opportunities, awards, partners and publication outlets using Academic Analytics and other relevant tools. Affiliates will provide synchronous and asynchronous training opportunities for data management, scholarly publishing and other relevant research topics when possible. They will meet monthly to discuss continued collaboration opportunities.
