HESTIA is a comprehensive, secure clinical research data repository that collects and catalogs data related to diverse clinical domains for use by health sciences researchers. By building on the organizational structure of its existing data, the HESTIA Core aims to provide a unified structure to serve as an interface with health care systems, allowing for an efficient, coordinated and organized approach to obtain and store clinical research data. HESTIA’s data structure also allows for direct control of compliance factors including adherence to institutional review board rules and de-identification of private health information.
