Renée Delgado-Riley joins the university from Eugene, Oregon, where she served as Director of Assessment & Research for University of Oregon’s Division of Student Life. She has also held a variety of student affairs roles at her alma mater, the University of New Mexico.
In her new position, Delgado-Riley will oversee research and assessment work for the division under the leadership of Vice President J. Rex Tolliver. Her work will include direction for program review processes, Beyond the Classroom Matters, the division’s Faculty Research Fellowships and more.
Additionally, Delgado-Riley recently completed her three-year term as president of the Student Affairs Assessment Leaders and formerly served as faculty for the Student Affairs Assessment Institute organized by ACPA–College Student Educators International. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and both her master’s degree and doctorate in educational psychology, all from University of New Mexico. Delgado-Riley also holds an associate’s degree from Central New Mexico Community College.
