Kirsten Kennedy and Silvia Patricia Rios Husain met with Julian Williams, Vice President,
and Dr. Michelle Bryan, Associate Vice President to provide them with a brief update
of the council’s work thus far and to discuss working with the Office of Diversity,
Equity, and Inclusion to advance DEIA.
Julian and Michelle will join the council’s next meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 9.
Diversity officers discussed identities that are represented on the council as well
as identifying what voices are not currently on the council but need to be taken into
consideration in all the DEIA work.
Conducting focus groups and listening tours along initial areas of focus and a possible
divisional climate assessment.
Creating a diversity objective to include in all employees' EPMS; standardized throughout
How DEIA efforts will be represented on the Blueprint.
