Student Health Services and COVID-19

Student Health Services is playing a pivotal role in the university’s Fall 2020 response to COVID-19.

From planning risk mitigation and treatment efforts to the creation of flexible staffing solutions to effectively optimize medical and mental health response in the face of uncertainty during this novel pandemic, we are prepared to meet the needs of our campus community.

During the fall semester, students can be seen either in-person at our facilities or via tele-appointments, depending on the recommendation of your provider or to minimize unnecessary risk of infectious disease exposure to patients and staff.

New, Expanded Capabilities

This summer, our telemedicine and telecounseling capabilities have undergone large-scale expansion and will be utilized for initial contact and triage of patients with respiratory and other symptoms compatible with COVID-19 disease.
