UofSC's exchange with Chulalongkorn Business school is designed to introduce UofSC students to Thai culture and business practices. Chulalongkorn University is a comprehensive and research-intensive university, and consistently ranked one of the best universities in Thailand.  Chulalongkorn Business School has served the country for more than 70 years. It has provided business education and educated more than 30,000 of students who have become executives, entrepreneurs, and leaders in many public and business organizations. Located in Bangkok, Thailand's capital, a large city known for ornate shrines and vibrant street life. The boat-filled Chao Phraya River feeds its network of canals, flowing past the Rattanakosin royal district, home to opulent Grand Palace and its sacred Wat Phra Kaew Temple.

Students can take any course as long as they have enough basic background and no schedule conflict. Students can take up to 7 courses per semester, and only 1 course can be taken outside of Business courses. Students attending Chulalongkorn are expected to wear the university uniform.

Excursions and activities available include a welcome dinner, cultural trips, Thai culture courses, volunteer opportunities, and more. 

Per university policy, all UofSC students will be charged emergency medical, evacuation and repatriation insurance for their time abroad. Contact the Study Abroad Office for more details.

Housing is available to students at the Nonsi Residence

 The academic calendar runs early January until early May. 

 Orientation is held during the first week of the semester. 

Students need to obtain a non-immigrant ED visa with the Thai Consulate.
