Conduct Research

Although both events are a great opportunity to learn more about employers, research attending employers to learn about organizations that most align with your career goals.

Prepare a Resume

Bring copies of your most up-to-date resume. You never know when an employer will be interested in seeing your experiences.

Practice, Practice, Practice!

Employers will be most impressed by students who can speak confidently and are able to showcase their strengths and experiences. Start by creating an “elevator pitch,” or a 30 second introduction to yourself.

Dress Professionally

Employers expect to interact with students who are polished and professional. For the Green Networking Breakfast and Green Career Fair, business casual is acceptable. However, it is always best to be overdressed than underdressed. Avoid jeans, flip flops, t-shirts, and shorts.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
