About Me

I consider myself a global citizen, but I am a native of Washington state. I graduated from Eastern Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. In college, I developed my passion for international populations and culture. Upon graduation, I decided to go abroad to pursue my master’s degrees in International Relations and International Communications at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. I have traveled around the world, but I am happy to call Columbia, South Carolina home. In my free time I enjoy cooking, sports, playing guitar and watching movies.

My advice for incoming international students is to be open to a new adventure. Studying abroad is like a roller coaster. There are ups and downs, but by the time the ride is over, you are going to wish it never ended.
