CreateAthon@USC: Students, mentors and professors alike join to produce comprehensive advertising campaigns for nonprofits in the Columbia area.

Student Gamecock Television (SGTV): The station airs student-created content that is specific to our students but enjoyable to all. SGTV gives students a practical application of media arts and journalism coursework in a safe learning environment, where taking risks and trying new things are encouraged.

The Carolina Agency: The Carolina Agency students love a challenge and the opportunity to create solid, award-winning communication strategies and tactics.  The student teams serve various client categories including start-up companies, nonprofits and university organizations.

Bateman Team: This team develops and implements a public relations campaign as part of a national competition (PRSSA’s Bateman Competition).

Ad Team: Each year, a South Carolina student team participates in the National Advertising Competition (NSAC). The team faces a real client challenge and stiff competition from across the country.

The Daily Gamecock: This student-run publication provides students with relevant information concerning campus-related events and issues. Team members gain hands-on experience creating online and print news content

Garnet and Black MagazineThe magazine focuses on issues of general interest to the campus community, as well as those related to diversity, arts and culture, and local highlights. The magazine is entirely student-produced, from articles to photography to style and design, and We serves as a platform for underrepresented voices.
