Need help getting course readings into Blackboard?

Thomas Cooper Library is here to help instructors get their course readings into Blackboard. Using your syllabus as our guide, we’ll provide links in Blackboard for articles, streaming video, book chapters, e-books, or Open Educational Resources. We can even consider purchasing new items to support your teaching.

To get started, send your syllabus to ereserve@mailbox.sc.edu. On your readings list, include the author, title and page number information, and the date each reading is assigned. For film, please include the year it was released. So that we can process your request before fall classes start, please submit your list by August 10.

We will make every effort to help provide access to the content your students need, within the parameters of what we are allowed by copyright law. We will also assist in providing licensed content when possible.

To learn more about copyright or making your course materials more affordable for your students, check out our guides and workshops. We can provide individual assistance, or we can review your syllabus and suggest affordable alternatives, including Open Educational Resources.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
