Important Notes for Discover USC 2026
- One poster per presenter: Because of the overwhelming popularity of Discover USC, presenters may only present one poster at Discover USC 2026. Up to two presenters are allowed per poster, but please note that neither the first nor the second presenter on one poster may present another poster. (In other words, the second presenter on a poster cannot also be first presenter on another poster.)
- Mentor nametags: To reduce paper waste at the event, nametags will not be printed for mentors at Discover USC 2026. Mentors are encouraged to bring a nametag issued by USC or Prisma Health to identify themselves. (Mentors are eligible to receive a boxed lunch with their employer-issued nametag.)
- Academic class requirements: Discover USC organizers ask that presentations not be made a requirement for all students in an academic class (if it is not a requirement already).
- No volunteer registration: Because Discover USC needs only a limited number of volunteers in 2026, we will not be opening volunteer registration this year. Faculty, staff, graduate students and postdocs who were planning to volunteer are encouraged to serve as reviewers this year instead.
