Palmetto College Lexington Transfer Center

In Lexington County, the University of South Carolina Palmetto College offers opportunities for high school students to complete dual credit opportunities toward a college degree. Working adults can complete a bachelor's online, or work toward completing a degree on-site within the community.

Our online programs are a flexible and convenient way to complete your degree if you have some previous college credit but never graduated. The programs are developed and taught by the same professors who teach statewide in the nationally renowned USC system. To learn more about our Bachelor's Degree Completions Programs, click here.

Online degrees are cost-effective and convenient. Many of our online courses are asynchronous, meaning you don't have to be logged in at a certain time to attend class. Of course, there are also scheduled times when you can connect with your classmates or chat with the professor. To learn more about planning your degree and transferring, click here.

Here you will find helpful links to a variety of academic and campus related resources located throughout the University. To learn more about our Online Student Resources, click here.

The Palmetto College Lexington Transfer Center opened on Nov.13, 2018, in a free-standing building on the campus of Lexington Middle School to provide area residents with information on online bachelor's degree completion programs, as well as transcript evaluation. On Nov. 30, the center received approval to begin offering classes toward bachelor's degrees in Liberal Studies and Organizational Leadership from the University Board of Trustees, S.C. Commission on Higher Education (CHE) and the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACSCOC).

You can find the Course schedules for the Summer and Fall here.

All classes meet at Lexington Middle School, 702 N. Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072.

All Fall 2019 Classes are in the Blended Learning/Hybrid Format. Classes meet “live” in a traditional face-to-face classroom on the schedule above, but a significant portion of the class—about 50%--is delivered and is accomplished online as well.
