Dr.  Rodney Steward attended the 2019 BrANCH conference at the University of Edinburgh. He was an invited contributing author to Jeffrey Forret and Bruce Bakers (eds) The Scoundrels, Shysters, and Confidence Men of Nineteenth-Century Southern Capitalism. The book is scheduled for release in early 2020 by LSU Press.
