USC Salkehatchie is saddened to hear of the passing of Former Senator Peden Brown McLeod.  Mr. McLeod served the Lowcountry region for many years and was a strong supporter of the Salkehatchie campus, especially the east campus library that was named in his honor. 

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church, 355 Hampton Street, Walterboro, with burial service at Live Oak Cemetery, located on South Jefferies Blvd. at Detreville St. in Walterboro.
