USC Salkehatchie Announces Cheer Camp for High School Seniors and College Students

The University of South Carolina Salkehatchie is holding a Cheer Camp designed for athletes looking to showcase their talents and take the next step in their cheerleading careers. The event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, from 10 a.m. to Noon.

Held at the USC Salkehatchie campus located at 807 Hampton Street, Walterboro, S.C., this camp offers a comprehensive experience for participants to refine their abilities and learn about the university’s program.

Participants will receive instruction on a variety of essential skills, including:

Basic Cheer & Dance: Master the fundamental movements and rhythm required for collegiate performance.
Tumbling & Stunting: Receive guidance on technical tumbling and stunting skills.
Tryout Preparation: Gain insight into the specific requirements for upcoming team tryouts.
Admissions Guidance: Learn more about the admissions process for the University of South Carolina Salkehatchie.

The camp is open to high school seniors and current college students. The registration fee is $40 per participant.
