Advanced examination of workforce management for Omni-channel retailers.
Understanding Omni-channel workforce management and its implications in the ever-changing retail environment is essential for those in or who wish to enter the retailing industry. This course incorporates the fundamentals necessary for understanding the dynamics and implications of profitable Omni-channel workforce management by examining human resource management concepts and techniques and how they improve performance, productivity, and profitability across channels. This course is required for the Retail Human Resources specialization. The course may be used as an elective for the Omni-Channel Retailing, Corporate Retail Operations, and/or Retail Entrepreneurship specialization. The course is open to all persons who qualify for enrolling in a 700 level course at the University of South Carolina. Students are not required to be enrolled in the Master of Retailing major to take this course.
