Principles of epidemiology with examples of selected health problems. Health status of populations and conceptual tools for translating epidemiologic findings into public health action.
Graduate students taking Epidemiology 700 may be concurrently taking BIOS 700, may have taken BIOS 700 several years ago or may have no exposure to BIOS 700. Students often request an exception to this course requirement. Due to the various exposures to BIOS, the EPID 700 instructors try to be comprehensive when teaching concepts that are also taught in BIOS. Given this, we request that the BIOS 700 prereq/coreq be removed.
Change applies to EPID J700 also.
Please remove the syllabus (not needed for the requested action) and resubmit the CCP.
