The Department of Integrated Information Technology and the Department of Health Services Policy and Management jointly offer the Master of Health Information Technology degree program through the distance learning method. This course is required for all students in the program. Providing this course in an online format is important to allow more flexibility in scheduling for those students who have difficulty attending a face-to-face on-campus course. Quality asynchronous courses can benefit adult learners in the healthcare information technology field regardless of their physical location. Delivering ITEC 764 via an asynchronous, 100% online format will also support the University’s efforts to make first-rate courses available to a wider scope of students, including those who may experience distance or time constraints (in particular information technology professionals).
In the course schedule, for what does "Chp" stand? Just curious. Total points for Weekly Discussion Forums needs to be recalculated.
