As the Integrated Information Technology Department is moving to the College of Engineering and Computing, we want to remove the requirement for HRSM 301 Professional Development from our undergraduate curriculum, as it is a general course directed at all majors in HRSM. We want to expand ITEC 301 to include more focused professional development content specific to information technology professionals.
Previously the prerequisite was professional division. As we move the College of Engineering and Computing, we are removing this prerequisite from all our courses that required it, as programs in the CEC do not have professional division.
Please provide a "justification" that describes why the prerequistes are being changed.
Thank you for submitting your proposal to the Committee on Curricula & Courses. We appreciate your patience and commitment to undergraduate and graduate education.
