Functional limitations and impact on employment, family/social life, and daily living. Approaches to treatment, prevention, and an overview of adaptive measures to enhance functioning and overall quality of life.
This course is part of a program modification of the Masters of Rehabilitation Counseling (MRC) degree program. This course integrates the content of RHAB 710 (Medical Aspects of Rehab) and RHAB 703 (Psychosocial Aspects of Disability) to reflect current practice in rehabilitation counselor education. The student learning outcomes and content of the class are updated to reflect current practice standards. For the program modification, the primary course designator is changing from RHAB to RCON.
