The structrual modeling framework is the most popular multivariate statistical technique currently in use. EDRM 889 will build off of the foundation of "basic" SEM to include current analysis and research techniques that are widely used by methodologists and applied researchers. In addition, the course will provide current research and computer software to illustrate the use of advanced SEM techniques. The course will an elective in the EDRM/EDPY PhD program to provide advanced training in latent modeling techniques. It is also taken by students outside education as an advanved statistics elective. When offered in previous semesters as a special topics seminar course, it routinely has had 20-30 students enrolled.
