Review of FREN course pre-requisites after move to Ellucian Banner revealed lack of uniformity and coherence, leading to confusion re: student eligibility to enroll in both required and elective major and minor courses (i.e., 300+ level). Proposed changes rectify that. They do not alter current requirements but merely get them in writing and in the system to streamline registration and keep students from enrolling in courses for which they do not yet have the appropriate knowledge and skills.
