GEOL 202 course number was changed to GEOL 302 several years ago. We omitted making the correction to this class pre-requisite. We also removed wording that the class was offered alternate years as it is now offered annually and frequency is a scheduling issue, rather than bulletin issue.
can you attach a syllabus here, just to be safe? I don't want C&C to kick this back and us miss the bulletin freeze.
Please indicate a minimum grade for each pre-requisite and/or co-requisite. Doing so will allow the pre/co-requisites to be enforced by Banner at the time of registration. A grade of 'D' indicates that the student passed the pre/co-requisite course. Some academic units choose to list a higher minimum grade, as deemed necessary by the department.
This should be a quick fix--I'd do it, but there are a flood coming in today that I have to get through.
Thank you for submitting your proposal to the Committee on Curricula & Courses. We are moving your proposal forward to the Faculty Senate. It is recommended someone from the department attend the next Faculty Senate meeting in case there are questions from the floor regarding your proposal.
A minor issue was identified in your proposal. Lecture topic numbering restarts after #8, and should be corrected when the course is offered, but we have approved the proposal and have sent it to the Faculty Senate.
We appreciate your patience and commitment to undergraduate and graduate education.
