Literature of Modernism in its cultural contexts, explored through representative works. Cross-listed Course: CPLT 385.
My understanding is that ENGL is seeking to remove pre-requists listed in the current bulletin for ENGL 380, 381, 384, 385, 386, which are all cross-listed with CPLT (see APPS for detailed proposed changes). As these proposed changes listed in the APPS system would not affect the CPLT bulletin, CPLT is giving our concurrence regarding these changes.

Please verify that no pre-reqs are desired. If a pre-req is still required, please enter it in the "New Pre/Co-requisites" section.
Your proposal is being returned for the following reason(s):• There is an indication that this course is cross listed with another course(s). The registrar is requiring that cross listed courses have identical bulletin information, so a proposed change in one cross listed course will impact all cross listed courses. Because of this there needs to be coordination between the departments to make sure that there is agreement by all parties with how these courses will be listed in the bulletin. In all cases we will need to have a letter of concurrence from all cross-listed departments.
If the above concerns are addressed, and the proposal reaches the Curricula and Courses Committee by noon April 19, 2018, it will be approved and included in those courses being recommended to the Faculty Senate for the upcoming Faculty Senate meeting. If the committee receives it after that date, it will be considered during the next Curricula and Courses review cycle Please contact me if you have questions (email@example.com).Sincerely,John GerdesFaculty Senate Committee on Curricula and Courses
