Rhetorical study of science and technology in contemporary culture, emphasizing the ways scientific texts and technologies make their persuasive appeals. Cross-listed course: SPCH 470.
This change (adding ENGL 101 and ENGL 102 as prequisite courses) is to make the bulletin consistent between ENGL and SPCH 470. Speech concurs.
Your proposal is being returned for the following reason(s):• There is an indication that this course is cross listed with another course(s). The registrar is requiring that cross listed courses have identical bulletin information, so a proposed change in one cross listed course will impact all cross listed courses. Because of this there needs to be coordination between the departments to make sure that there is agreement by all parties with how these courses will be listed in the bulletin. In all cases we will need to have a letter of concurrence from all cross-listed departments.
If the above concerns are addressed, and the proposal reaches the Curricula and Courses Committee by noon April 19, 2018, it will be approved and included in those courses being recommended to the Faculty Senate for the upcoming Faculty Senate meeting. If the committee receives it after that date, it will be considered during the next Curricula and Courses review cycle Please contact me if you have questions (email@example.com).Sincerely,John GerdesFaculty Senate Committee on Curricula and Courses
