We removed SCHC 330P (Introduction to Neuroscience) as a prerequisite as that course no longer exists. It was replaced by PSYC 455 (Introduction to Neuroscience), which has been added to the list of prerequisites. "Consent of instructor" was removed as this has become too onerous for whoever is teaching the class. Too many students believe they are exempt from the prerequisites and "override" requests for any given semester have become overwhelming.
I think you have to put something under New Pre/Co-requisites--like "deleting x."
Thank you for submitting your proposal to the Committee on Curricula & Courses. We have approved the proposal and are moving it forward to the Faculty Senate. It is recommended someone from the department attend the next Faculty Senate meeting in case there are questions from the floor regarding your proposal.
We appreciate your patience and commitment to undergraduate and graduate education.
