A course on public health management and policy process and advocacy to develop effective public health leaders. Included is an emphasis on the relationships between people and their environmentand the impact of the environment on human health and well-being.
This course is one of four being developed to meet new accreditation requirements of the Council on Education in Public Health. The four new courses will replace the current five core courses and will be required for students all in Master of Public Health (MPH) programs. Program revisions will be submitted through APPS by fall 2018 for implementation beginning fall 2019. The courses will be offered in both distance and face-to-face formats and will be restricted to MPH students only.
