We are submitting this APPS at the request of the Registrar. While the prerequisite showing in the APPS system indicates faculty senate approval (FS 12.2.2015), this change does not seem to appear in the minutes of the faculty senate. The justification for the prerequisite change is as follows:
The ENCP designator is used for articulating certain transfer courses and for offering Honors College specific sections of courses offered by various departments in the College of Engineering and Computing. ENCP 260 provides prerequisite knowledge equivalent to ECIV 220.
There is an error in the justification. Delte the following sentance: "We are also articulating that the definition of passing the prerequisite for this course includes a grade a "D" or better."
Thank you for submitting your proposal to the Committee on Curricula & Courses. We have approved the proposal and are moving it forward to the Faculty Senate. It is recommended someone from the department attend the next Faculty Senate meeting in case there are questions from the floor regarding your proposal.
We appreciate your patience and commitment to undergraduate and graduate education.
