Mathematical and theoretical analysis of the mechanical properties and functions of soft biological tissues to include arterial vessels.
This course has been offered as an experimental elective, under the BMEN 589 designator, for three offerings. During that time, the course content has been solidified and strong enrollments have indicated the utility of the course for biomedical engineering majors. Thus, we wish to convert the course to a permanent offering to be listed within the bulletin and offered on a regular basis.
