In order to keep up with the changing times and more comprehensive needs of the hospitality and tourism industries, this course is going to reflect a more broad view of training and developing. Instead of just focusing on development and costs of a training program in an organization, it is going to cover the comprehensive role of talent management in organizations today in order to provide a context for development of people and the talent pipeline that can create for organizations. It also will review the strategic role that talent management should have in organizations from the start of the search process through the performance management of a company. The course will help to teach students what they will need for the current and future workforce with relation to the people that work for and with them.
