In order to keep up with the critical needs of hospitality and tourism organizations, the current course description, objectives and course name and content is being changed and updated in order to better reflect the focus of hospitality organizations. As customer needs have changed, the focus has had to change from not just providing excellent customer service, but also providing an experience to be remembered. The guests are not just satisfied with good service, they require an opportunity to connect with hospitality organizations at a higher level. The course will help to teach students what they will need for the current and future hospitality organizations to gain a sustainable competitive advantage.
