In 2015, the Bachelor of Arts with a major in Global Studies was proposed with an administrative structure in the College of Arts and Sciences, co-administered and co-located within the Walker Institute of International and Area Studies. Going forward, the major will not be co-administered or co-located within the Walker Institute and will be the Global Studies Program. All other degree requirements will remain the same, and the Program will house the existing world area studies programs that offer undergraduate minors in African Studies, Asian Studies, European Studies, Islamic World Studies, Latin American Studies, and Russian and Eurasian Studies.
