Departmental Undergraduate Research Track/Intensive Major is available to students majoring in Anthropology who wish to participate in significant research activities in collaboration with, or under the supervision of, a faculty mentor.
Selection of major courses must include at least one of the following courses: ANTH 261, 319, 320, 355, 366, 381 or 581.
To make it clear to the students that the 12 additional Anth credits must be above the 100-level and that there must be at least one Integrative course chosen.
Claudia, cut 364 from the integrative list for both BA and DURT and replace it with 261. This is the bio course that was renumbered. We should correct this within the system and keep it as an approved integrative until we are told otherwise.
Thank you for submitting your proposal to the Committee on Curricula & Courses. We are moving your proposal forward to the Faculty Senate. There is no need to attend the Curricula and Courses meeting, but it is recommended someone from the department attend the next Faculty Senate meeting in case there are questions from the floor regarding your proposal.
We appreciate your patience and commitment to undergraduate and graduate education.
John Gerdes, Chair
Faculty Senate Committee on Curricula and Courses
