Students pursuing a B.S. in statistics will fulfill all ARP requirements via the MATH 141 and MATH 142 courses and the required CSCE and STAT courses.

It was suggested by Jenn Tilford of the Provost's office that the existing wording could confuse students and might make them think they needed to take certain extra ARP courses. The proposed wording makes it clear that statistics major will satisfy the ARP requirements through their ordinary progression through the courses that are required for the major.
