And current students serve as peer leaders and tutors. These resources are available for any student looking to improve performance in the classroom and in life.
Our academic coaches help you learn and apply skills needed to be successful in college. We meet with you one-on-one to create an academic and engagement plan, set goals and share resources to help you achieve those goals in the classroom and in life.
Thinking about law, medicine or another health-related career? We help you prepare for the complex application process, including information on essay-writing workshops. Our advisers also have information on various community service projects sponsored by area hospitals and agencies and job-shadowing opportunities with local healthy professionals and lawyers.
Learn how to study and prepare for specific classes from fellow students who have been there and done that and done it well. These sessions are geared toward upper-level classes and tailored to meet your individual needs. Our tutors not only excelled in the classes they are helping with, but have been trained to help you develop strong study skills.
The Office of Student Disability Services supports students with learning, physical, health or psychiatric disabilities in managing the varying demands of the university experience. Learn how to register as a student with a disability, discover how we can accommodate your specific needs and stay informed through the office's ListServ.
