Our students are part of the University of South Carolina community, but they're also part of the local community and they're eager to give back. They have valuable skills to offer, and we encourage them take advantage of opportunities to learn beyond the classroom.

Internships

Students in the College of Arts and Science relish the opportunity to turn their education into experience through internships. Sharing your expertise and experience with a student by hosting an internship is a great way to connect. Please get in touch with our Associate Director for Internships if you'd like to discuss offering an internship to our students. Contact  Megan Plott for more information on internships. 

Hire a Student or a Graduate

Our Career Center has a dedicated team who can help match you with an employee or give you the opportunity to come to campus and recruit. Some students work while they're in school, and many of our students enjoy the area so much that they stay after graduation. We're glad to nurture and keep that talent in Columbia, SC.

Find a Volunteer

Our students have a wealth of skills that they can volunteer to the larger community. Please contact the college or the university's Student Affairs Office with any volunteer jobs or projects you'd like to discuss.
