MS/Ph.D Research Assistantship in Marine Science/Department of Earth and Ocean Sciences

(Specialization in Physical Oceanography/Satellite Oceanography)

The Satellite Oceanography Laboratory at the University of South Carolina, Columbia invites applications from qualified students to our M.S. and Ph.D. programs in Marine Science and Department of Earth and Ocean Sciences to work on problems in Physical Oceanography/ Satellite Oceanography/ Ocean Modelling /Air-Sea Interaction projects. A bachelor's or master's degree in oceanography, meteorology, physics, engineering, computer sciences, applied mathematics or related field is required. Applicants should have strong mathematical and computer skills. Review of applications is ongoing through Fall 2015, and will continue until the positions are filled. Enrollment beginning either Summer/Fall 2015 is expected. January 15 is the program deadline for Summer/Fall 2015 applications.
