Letting go of blue

By: Josephine Morrissey

I switched the bandanas
That lay in my room.
One is orange
The other is blue.
There’s one on each table
A total of two
I doubt that you noticed,
Who honestly would?
The point is I changed them.
And other things too.
From now every time
I walk in my room,
I first see bright orange
Instead,
Of our pale faded blue.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
