The University of South Carolina will nominate one of their own assistant professors in the biomedical sciences for the 2019 Pew Biomedical Scholars Award. The recipient of UofSC’s nomination will compete against 177 other candidates from other institutions for a $300,000, 4-year grant to conduct biomedical research.
Pre-proposal applications for the University’s internal selection process are due at 5:00 pm on May 21. The candidate’s final application to the Pew Biomedical Scholars Program is due June 22.
