Congratulations to Chia-Hua Lin!

 

Recently minted PhD Chia-Hua Lin was awarded a two-year research grant by the National Science Foundation. Starting in September 2019, Lin will serve as the co-PI and a post-doc under the supervision of Paul Humphreys at the University of Virginia. To know more about their project titled "A Case Study of the Cross-disciplinary Use of Mathematical Constructs in Computational Biology as Tool Migration," please visit their NSF project. In July 2019, Lin also received an Early Career Visiting Fellowship from the Konrad Lorenz Institute. With this fellowship, which provides a travel grant and weekly allowance, Lin worked in Vienna and Klosterneuburg, Austria, throughout summer 2019.  For details of the KLI and of this project, please visit the project home page.
