Study

The Department of Political Science offers students general or intensive courses of study in political science, international studies, public administration, and leadership. Specific programs, such as comparative politics, provide opportunities for deeper inquiry.

Undergraduate

The Department of Political Science is home to two undergraduate majors—the B.A. in political science and the B.A. international studies—as well as minors in these two programs and the new university minor in leadership studies.

Graduate

At the graduate level, the department offers three advanced degrees: a Ph.D. in Political Science, an M.A. in international studies (MAIS), and an M.A. in public administration (MPA).

Research

Students in both the graduate and undergraduate programs have the opportunity to conduct research with faculty members who have extensive experience in numerous fields of inquiry. Current students, graduates, and faculty alike have been able to produce publications that change the landscape of political thought.

Beyond the Classroom

While enrolled with the Department of Political Science, you're encouraged to take advantage of everything the world has to offer, from student organizations to internships to study abroad experiences. Even if you're not an international studies major, the world can still be your oyster.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
