Are you interested in law and politics? Would you like to experience three awesome cities in Europe? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, consider signing up for POLI 391 – The Foundations of Law and Government. Now in its 9th year, this class involves spending 12 days in Europe (specifically in London, Brussels, and The Hague) visiting legal and governmental institutions in those cities. We will learn how and why countries organize their legal institutions in specific ways, explore how international law affects domestic politics, and speak with judges, barristers/attorneys, and professional staffers about their everyday work.
Applications and Deposit/Withdrawal forms due by November 22, 2019. Any questions please contact Dr. Kirk Randazzo at randazzo@mailbox.sc.edu.
