McMaster Gallery hosted the 71st annual juried student exhibition from February 23 - March 27, 2026, a tradition that began in 1955. The exhibition featured works across media and includes painting, sculpture, animation, printmaking, ceramics, photography, and drawing. All students in the School of Visual Art and Design were invited to submit works in any media. This year’s exhibition was juried by Dre Lopez, a seasoned illustrator, graphic designer, and fine artist with over 20 years of experience bringing ideas to life. Prizes that were awarded included: Best in Show 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Undergraduate Awards, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Graduate Awards, as well as undergraduate and graduate Popular Vote awards. The awards ceremony took place on March 5, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at McMaster Gallery. Congratulations to all participants and award winners!
