European Studies Minor

The interdisciplinary European Studies minor gives you a broad understanding of Europe’s formative concepts and institutions. In this program, you explore the continent’s history, politics and culture. A better understanding of how Europe is connected to complex global developments — such as democratization, human rights, religion, revolution, industrial capitalism, modern art and the welfare state — will give you a better understanding of the modern world.

Our Courses

As a European Studies minor, you’ll learn the history, culture and politics of the continent. Find updated course listings and minor requirements in the academic bulletin.
