Islamic World Studies Minor

The minor in Islamic World Studies challenges you to think differently about Islam, Muslim societies and their role in shaping the modern world. The program uses a unique, interdisciplinary approach that focuses on several regions. You will explore historical and contemporary issues in Africa, Asia and the Middle East and their centuries-old ties through vast networks created by trade, religion, imperialism and human migration.
