Geoffrey Ford, of Associate Professor Wayne Outten's Group, successfully passed his Ph.D. dissertation defense on December 9, 2015. His defense was entitled, "Iron uptake and accumulation is a target of nickel toxicity during the lag phase in Escherichia coli."
