Congratulations to the following faculty members that had their grants funded.

 

Timothy Shaw, PI and Ken Shimizu, Co-PI

They received a grant for their project entitled, "Underrepresented Graduate Student Recruitment using NOBCChE Network,"
funded by SC EPSCoR/IDeA/SC Commission of Higher Education (CHE) for a total amount of $5,000.00.

Chuanbing Tang

He received an award from SC EPSCoR for a total amount of $5,000.00 for his project entitled, "Networking Sustainability with Scientists Including Women and Underrepresented Groups."

Maksymilian Chruszcz

He received a grant for his project entitled, "Antigenic Determinants of Asthma-Associated Allergens for Design of Immunotherapy," funded by Indoor Biotechnologies, Inc./NIH for a total amount of $73, 250.00.

Wayne Outten

He received $16,071.00 for the first year of a three-year total supplement of $96,423.00 as a Co-PI on an
NIH grant with the University of Alabama entitled, "Conformational Dynamics and Allosteric Regulation During Stress-responsive Metallocofactor Assembly."
