The mission of the South Carolina Section of the American Chemical Society is to promote the discipline of chemistry throughout central and coastal South Carolina.  For his outstanding research, Professor Qian Wang has been selected to receive the 2016 SC Section ACS Outstanding Chemist Award.  He will receive his award at the annual awards dinner on April 6, 2016, at Claflin University.
