Oluwasegun Olakoyenikan is an award-winning journalist with more than 13 years of experience in financial journalism and fact-checking. He spent three years at Agence France-Presse before joining Forbes, where he conducted net-worth valuations for the World’s Billionaires List.

His research interests center on how artificial intelligence and emerging technologies are reshaping the relationship between people, information, and media, particularly how individuals determine what to trust in an AI-driven information environment. This includes audience perception of human versus AI-generated fact-checks and how content authenticity systems can strengthen trust in digital media.

In his free time, Oluwasegun enjoys traveling and following soccer.
