Teaching
Ernie Grigg emphasizes real world experience and current events in his classes. Through interactive projects, he encourages deeper understanding and discussion of news stories as well as the public relations practitioner's role in creating them. Having worked in the public, private, and social sectors, Grigg tries to show his students the various nuances of strategic communication within different industries and organizations.
Research/Areas of Interest
Grigg's research interests include public affairs and policy (primarily K-12 education), political campaigns, philanthropic communications, social media strategy, and writing for different media.
